Rules and Regulations for the Participants
Trade guru
- The Trading in this event “Trade Guru” will be based on the Live market.
- This event will involve individual participation. If you participate in 2 events, “Trade Guru” & “Fincurious” (Financial Quiz), a cashback of Rs. 100 will be given on the event day. Participants are expected to bring their college ID and valid ID proof on the day of the event.
- All participants must register at the desk by 8:30 am on 31st Jan 2025, Friday.
- Once the registration is complete, detailed rules for the event will be explained, post which live trading will be initiated.
- The event will start sharp at 10am and will conclude by 1pm, following the Prize distribution.
- In case any participant arrives late to the event, they can proceed with the trading but he/she will have to conclude it by 1pm (no extra time will be provided).
- Trading will only be allowed in 30 companies (the list will be disclosed a day before the event). The sole objective is to maximize profit.
- The first two players who will make the maximum profit will be crowned as the respective winners. Participants do not need to carry their laptops, as we will provide all the required resources at our institute.
- Trading is permitted in delivery and intraday format only.
- For Intraday, participants can take long and short positions (short selling is allowed).
- Trading in F&O, Commodities and any other products are not permitted.
- If any player acts in a way inconsistent with the rules & regulations or any breach of it, the organizers have the right to terminate their participation.
- Registrations need to be done in advance via Google forms.

Business Quiz (Biz Quiz)

Biz Quiz
- A maximum of 2 members in each team are allowed. Buzzer Round/Rapid fire round (Round 1) – Based on your current awareness of the business market and agility.
- Managerial interpretation round (Round 2) – How well you understand business corporate language.
- Challenger Round (Round 3) – You are a business-person. Let’s challenge each other can we? All players report 15 mins prior to the program.
- Any prompting or uncalled-for responses will lead to deduction in scores. The questions and answers are clearly analyzed by our team.
- The decision of the quiz master will be final for all rounds.
- Use of smartphones and smartwatches will be prohibited.

Escape Room
Rules and Regulations for the Participants
ESCAPE ROOM
- No Outside Tools: Escape rooms are designed with items within the room to solve puzzles. You cannot bring in personal tools (e.g., phones, calculators, flashlights) unless specified by the room’s rules.
- No Searching Beyond Designated Areas: Don’t move furniture or search in areas that are not part of the game, such as electrical panels, ventilation ducts, or other areas not related to the puzzles.
- Emergency Exit: If you need to leave the room for any reason (emergency, bathroom, or otherwise), most escape rooms will have an emergency exit available. However, this may forfeit your chance to complete the game.
- Follow the Theme: Many escape rooms have immersive themes, and you should try to engage with the experience. Be open-minded and creative!
- No Sharing Spoilers: To keep the experience fresh for others, avoid discussing specific details of the puzzles or room setup in public spaces or online until after the game is completed.
- Escape Success: If you manage to solve the puzzles and “escape” within the allotted time, you may receive a reward or certificate.

Memes and GIFs’
Number of Entries Allowed: Only one of the categories.
The categories (topics) for Memes:
1.Quarantine Memes
2.College Life Memes
3.Reality Shows Memes
4.Placement Memes
5.Couple Memes
Judging Criteria:
- A panel of judges will determine the top three memes.
- Their decision will be based on the following criteria –
1.Creativity of the Meme
2.Correctness of the theme
3.Originality
- Needless to say, judges’ decisions regarding winning entries or disqualifications (if any) shall be final and binding.
Submissions:
- While submitting your entry, please save your file as Name_of_the_participant file format. For example, your name is ’Lorem Ipsum’. You must save your file as
‘Lorem_Ipsum.jpeg’
- Remember to ensure that existing images are available for reuse without copyright infringement.
Entry Fee : Rs.150/- for both memes and gif.
Duration : 30 min for memes and 45 min for GIF. Rules And Topics for both are common.

Anveshi
Rules and Regulations for the Participants
ANVESHI
- Last date for submission of the paper is 23rd February, 2024.
- All the correspondence should be addressed to: “The Convener – ANVESHI 2024”.
- Authors’ names & Faculty guide’s name should be on the title page only, in order to facilitate the blind review.
- Paper submission should include a title page containing: Theme of the paper, Name(s) of author, Name of the guide, Authors’ contact numbers and e-mail addresses, Name of the Institute, Institute’s full postal address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
- The manuscript must be typed with 1.5 lines spacing. The font size used for all the headings, including the title, should be size 16, subheadings size 14, while text should be size 12. The font used should be Times New Roman. Margins must be 1.5 inch on the left side and 1 inch on all other sides.
- The length of the paper should not exceed 2500 words. The abstract should be of a maximum of 300 words.
- The research paper should reflect original thoughts and should not be a published work. It should not have a similarity index of more than 20%. Check for grammatical errors, if any, before submitting the research paper.
- Follow the order when typing the manuscripts: Table of Contents, Table of Figures, Table of Charts, Abstract, Main text, References and Appendix.
- The list of references must be arranged in alphabetical order. References should be written in the following format: Author(s) name (last name, first name), year of publication, chapter or article heading, book title or journal name, volume, issue and page numbers. The book title or journal name should appear in italics.
- Intimation of Acceptance of Paper : 1st February, 2025
